What a weekend! Our BraveHeart 2032 crew showed up to the Texas Wildcard Tournament with just one full practice under our belt—only 6 players made it out to the first one, and the second got zapped by Oklahoma lightning. But when we rolled into Texas with the full squad of 15, it was game on.
🔥 Game 1: BraveHeart 15 – Houston 0
We came out swinging and made a statement. From the first whistle, our boys played fast, fearless, and fired up. Boys tickled the twine 15 times.
⚔️ Game 2: BraveHeart 4 – NorthStar 8
We ran into a well-coached squad and got tested. Proud of our fight and hustle, but this one gave us a glimpse of what we need to sharpen. It was closer than the score indicated, but I was prou of the BraveHearts
⚔️ Game 3: BraveHeart 3 – Iron Horse 5
Another grinder. Tight game against another very solid and tough team. We saw flashes of brilliance and started building chemistry, one rep at a time. One man up goal late would have given us a chance, but a good opportunity to test ourselves against the tourney champs!
🍔 Team Dinner at LSA Burgers
The burgers were 🔥, but the best part was seeing the boys off the field—laughing, talking, and (finally) learning each other’s names 😅. Pool time helped seal the bond.
It took until the fourth quarter when it was tied 2-2 to finally show up locked in. Ball movement. Grit. Sideline energy. It all clicked for the fourth quarter to go on a four goal run. That win was a true team victory—and it left us hungry for more.
Too bad we didn’t get another game… because we were READY to put it all together.
🫡 Proud of the heart, hustle, and brotherhood this weekend.
Can’t wait to see everyone in a couple of weeks for the Texas Two Step—we’re just getting started.
